About My Clients
My clients are diverse, often seeking support for mental health, relationships, and growth. Many are from the BIPOC community, and I provide a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed approach that respects their experiences. I help clients facing anxiety, depression, and generational trauma build resilience, self-compassion, and healthier futures. For those dealing with relationship challenges or trauma, I offer tools to promote healing, stronger connections, and empowerment in a supportive space.
My Background and Approach
It is my mission to provide the tools for all people to empower themselves in their journeys of healing and self-discovery. Also, to provide a person-centered style of therapy to children, adolescents, adults, BIPOC, members of the LGTBQIA+ community, couples and families. No two journeys are alike and that will make every treatment different and unique to you. It is my goal to help my client(s): enhance self-awareness, identify patterns, better communicate, cope with trauma, and enhance overall level of happiness in life and family/ relationships. I am extremely passionate about normalizing and bringing awareness of mental health into the lives of BIPOC and members of underserved communities. I take pride in supporting people from all walks of life as they find themselves and better their connections. Together we will better your communication and boundary setting, as well as improve your mental health and overall life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe no two journeys are alike, even within a family system, and that what makes the experience in therapy unique to all parties involved. All beings have the capacity to grow and change, in fact, I believe that we change everyday. When we place ourselves in the driver seat, obtain and utilize tools to we can learn through counseling we can begin to value ourselves and those around us much more. We begin to love ourselves and those around us in a much healthier way. As a person who grew up in a chaotic household, as a mother of four and a wife I understand the feelings of anxiety, isolation, depression, body dysmorphia, losing myself and having an enmeshed family with poor communication. Through my own therapy, skill building etc I have been able to feel so much lighter and set boundaries to actually enjoy and build healthy relationships and lead a much happier life. I want you and your loved ones to feel that feeling. I will not judge you; I've been there.
