I focus on utilizing a trauma informed approach to therapy with my clients and use attachment, somatic, and IFS techniques. I view people from a wholeness perspective and help my clients calm both their mind, as well as their body. Additionally, I often utilize neurofeedback with my clients in order to assist them in managing challenging mental health symptoms, as well as further explore and process trauma.

As a person who understands anxiety on a personal level, I love walking along side my clients as they face struggles with anxiety. I approach this work with grace and compassion and help clients utilize skills to calm their anxiety. I also have considerable experience working with ADHD. Neurofeedback is also FDA approved as a treatment for ADHD and I often incorporate this with my clients who struggle with anxiety and inattention.

As a Licensed Addictions Counselor, I have a background in working with substance abuse concerns. I view addiction work as an opportunity to connect with my clients on a deeper level and help them understand addiction as a negative coping skill to help them manage the challenges they face in life. I approach my work from a place of non-judgement and focus on walking along side my clients as they face these challenges.

I view my clients as part of a whole system. Meaning, I look at healing from a wholeness perspective. I help my clients utilize new skills so they can live more open, fulfilled, and engaged lives.

I often use IFS skills in working with my clients in order to help them build relationship with parts of themselves who may be feeling lost, alone, or even overwhelmed. This helps clients process trauma from a deeper perspective, as well as helps clients increase secure connection and attachment within themselves.

I focus on using an attachment based model for therapy with my clients. Many times, increasing our secure attachment within ourselves, helps us have better connection and relationships to others, as well as ourselves. I focus on using relational strategies with clients to help them process past attachment wounds from a place of safety and support.
