About My Clients
I work with adults, couples, teens, and children navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed or stuck. I also welcome LGBTQIA+ clients and people from diverse cultural and family backgrounds. Whether you want to improve relationships, build coping skills, process difficult experiences, or better understand yourself, we'll identify what matters most to you and work toward meaningful, realistic goals.
My Background and Approach
As an LMSW, I believe therapy works best when it is tailored to the person rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. My work is grounded in strengths-based and solution-focused principles, while drawing from different therapeutic methods based on your age, needs, personality, experiences, and goals. My style balances empathetic listening with honest, direct reflection. Some clients benefit from practical tools and strategies, while others need space to process emotions, explore patterns, or understand their experiences more deeply. Often, our work includes a combination of both. I strive to make therapy feel collaborative, comfortable, and genuine. When appropriate, I also believe humor can have a place in the healing process. Together, we'll build on your strengths, explore new perspectives, and develop strategies that support meaningful change in your everyday life. I offer both in-person and virtual weekly outpatient therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a space where they can show up authentically and feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. Therapy should be a place where you don't have to hide important parts of who you are. I value compassion, authenticity, openness, and respect for each person's individual experiences. I welcome people of different identities, cultures, backgrounds, relationships, and family structures, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also believe people often have more strengths within them than they recognize, especially during difficult seasons of life. My role isn't to tell you who to be or make decisions for you. Instead, I hope to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, explore what may be keeping you stuck, and feel more confident making choices that align with the life you want. Therapy can include difficult conversations, but I believe there should also be room for hope, growth, connection, and even laughter.
