My Background and Approach
My goal is to provide clients the opportunity for growth & healing from mental & emotional wounds that have created barriers in their ability to live fully, freely, & authentically as who they truly are or strive to be. The foundation of my theoretical approach is built upon Person-Centered Theory. What this means is that I believe that YOU, the client, are the expert in your own life and ultimately knows what's best for you; my role is simply to listen, affirm, support, and help you find the strength you already have access to. My mission is to create a safe space for vulnerability, trust, and respect as the foundation assisting clients as they build their strengths, resilience, and confidence while healing from past and recent trauma or adverse experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m here to work alongside you, not just to help you process and heal from your trauma, but to help you unbind yourself from the grasp they have on you by learning tools and strategies to help you feel more independent and liberated from your fears. I believe that healing is facilitated not only in the learning of new skills, but the feeling of comfort in that you have finally found someone who you can genuinely and authentically connect to. Someone who understands you. I see you, all of you. Who you are and who you want to be. I’m ready to help you find your bravery and heal the wounds and scars of the past.
