About My Clients

Middle Path Counseling supports individuals and families who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and are ready for meaningful change. Our ideal clients include children, teens, adults, couples, and parents navigating anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, depression, trauma, relationship stress, and life transitions. We offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space paired with evidence-based care including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed therapy, and family-based approaches.

My Background and Approach

Our approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship combined with proven, practical interventions. We draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders, and the Gottman Method for couples work, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. Our clinicians bring specialized training and experience in anxiety disorders, OCD, eating disorders, depression, trauma, parenting challenges, and relationship concerns. We are committed to meeting clients where they are, helping them build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create sustainable change in their lives. At Middle Path Counseling, we strive to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel understood and empowered in their healing journey.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Middle Path Counseling is rooted in the belief that healing happens when people feel truly seen, supported, and empowered. We recognize that life’s challenges are rarely simple, and we strive to meet each client with curiosity, respect, and compassion rather than judgment. Our practice is built on the idea that there is no “one right path” to wellness. Instead, we help clients discover what works best for them through collaboration, skill-building, and self-understanding. We value accessibility, flexibility, and a deeply human approach to therapy. Whether working with a child struggling with anxiety, a teen navigating identity and social stress, a parent feeling overwhelmed, or an adult working through long-standing patterns, we focus on practical tools that can be integrated into everyday life. We believe therapy should be both supportive and active, helping clients not only gain insight but also make real, sustainable changes.
