About My Clients
I have experience working with an array of diverse cultures, communities and age groups. Most recently I was in a hospital setting aiding individuals/families facing chronic illness, medical crises and providing end of life support. I have also worked with adolescents/families involved with the criminal justice system, overcoming trauma and substance use. My areas of focus are stress and anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship distress, life transitions, grief and self-exploration.
My Background and Approach
I utilize an integrative approach, drawing from numerous evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Additionally, I operate through a strengths-based, trauma informed lens, recognizing and acknowledging how adverse experiences significantly impact individuals and can shape the way we interact with the world. Managing your mental well-being is equally as important as maintaining your physical health. It would be an honor and privilege to join you for the therapeutic process, navigating the uncharted path, wherever it may lead.
