About My Clients
Most of the people I work with aren't new to self-awareness. They've done therapy, read the books, listened to the podcasts. They understand their patterns. What they haven't found yet is an approach that actually changes them. I work with individuals and couples in Napa and throughout California who are ready to move beyond insight into real, lasting behavioral change. People who are tired of managing their anxiety, their triggers, their patterns — and are ready to resolve them.
My Background and Approach
Before private practice, I held leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente as Behavioral Health Manager and at Napa County Health and Human Services as Administrator of Alcohol and Drug Services. Those roles showed me exactly where conventional therapy falls short — and shaped how I work today. Often therapy uses one framework to every client. I start with the pattern first and match the tool to what it needs. As a licensed psychotherapist, certified hypnotherapist, and master-level NLP practitioner, I use hypnotherapy, RTT, NLP, and Integral Eye Movement Therapy — tools that work at the subconscious level where recurring patterns actually live. For clients wanting focused results, I offer 21-day and 30-day therapeutic intensives — structured programs with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Not open-ended sessions that circle the same ground indefinitely. The goal is to get you out of therapy faster, not keep you in it longer.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that lasting change doesn't happen through understanding alone — it happens when you work at the level where the pattern is actually stored. Most people who come to me have more than enough insight. What they need is a different kind of intervention. I also believe therapy should have an endpoint. My work is designed around outcomes, not dependency. When clients leave, they carry tools that keep working long after the sessions end.
