About My Clients
I work with adults and welcome those from a wide range of backgrounds and identities. For mental health counseling, I specialize in eating disorders, grief and loss, and trauma. I also have experience working with anxiety, depression, stress and coping with chronic illness.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic style is non-judgemental and curious, prioritizing the creation of a safe place where you can show up as your whole self. In our work together, we might explore how your history, culture, spirituality, intersections of identity, parts of self, and thought and behavior patterns influence your experience. I blend tools from person-centered and relational therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness and existentialism and practice with a trauma-informed and feminist lens. My nutrition practice integrates anti-diet and intuitive eating philosophies and appreciates that food can functionally support our mental health and overall well-being in a weight-neutral way. I affirm that all foods can fit in an intuitive and joyful way, and every body deserves respect and autonomy.
