I have been working with people to recover from trauma and PTSD for my whole career thus far. The most effective means I have found to help is Cognitive Processing Therapy, which usually takes 12 sessions to address PTSD symptoms. CPT is a highly research validated way of treating PTSD, and has been selected by U.S. Armed Forces to treat veterans due to its efficacy. Post traumatic growth is important as well, and I can help you find your footing in life when you are ready for it.

This is an issue I have extensive experience with. I have been trained and certified as a CPT counselor by the creators of CPT, and I have found it to be a very effective approach to treating PTSD. It usually takes about 12 sessions, and we focus on identifying what has kept you from recovering from PTSD, and learning skills to practice that can help you recover. Unlike most other treatments for PTSD, it is not focused on the trauma narrative, and so it is often described as less difficult to engage in.

CBT may be the most ubiquitous modality out there, but for good reason. I have found it to be highly effective at helping people find freedom in their thinking and change what they are feeling. I use this modality most often with addressing anxiety and depression, but it is so adaptable to many other problems. You will find it to be highly respectful of you as a person, while also supporting you in challenging any patterns you are stuck in to find fresh new approaches to solving problems.

I have found this to be an excellent way to respect my client's values and beliefs. This therapy helps us to collaborate on better defining what has you stuck, and using a strengths based approach we use what you value to help you reconnect to what is most important and have that guide us through finding solutions to get unstuck from your patterns that you most want freedom from.
