If you suspect you might have some form of neurodivergence like ADHD and autism, I can help you both identify what's going on and work on strategies to help improve your life and circumstances I also have extensive experience with queer issues and I can help navigate those
My Background and Approach
I use many therapeutic models or perspectives, primarily "Feminist Therapy" which focuses on how systemic and institutional barriers affect mental, emotional, and behavioral health and well-being. I'm queer and queer-friendly. I strongly believe anyone and everyone can benefit from therapy. I do not use or believe in the "medical model" of mental health, so I do not attempt to "cure" "mental illness", but recognize that mental health is complicated and "mental illness" is mostly a survival response. I especially enjoy employing "somatic" techniques to help your nervous system get in line with your mind, and "psychoeducation" to help you understand mental health and the techniques that help.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a leftist and align with the furthest left values, mainly centering on the inherent value of all people regardless of the circumstances of their birth or life.
