About My Clients
You may feel stuck between who you were and who you’re becoming and I am proud of you for making the first step to get help. I know life doesn't always seem fair and quite frankly, we do the best we can with what we have. Grief can leave you lost, overwhelmed, and disconnected. I am here to help you process what hurts while gently guiding you back to yourself so you can begin to feel steadier, clearer, and more like you again. You deserve to feel hopeful again.
My Background and Approach
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, griefwork has become a focal point in my life after becoming unexpectedly widowed in 2019. The modalities I used to support myself in my own grief has been implemented in my clinical work. I leaned into energy work, spirituality, and other holistic approaches to support the mind, body, spirit. I live by the notion of moving forward with grief and not moving on from it. I believe grief and joy can truly coexist. I've explored and collaborated with various mindset's perception of death, grief, and loss. I firmly believe our (western) culture is limited in understanding and supporting those who grieve regardless of it being the death of a loved one (including pets), the death of a marriage, the death of a relationship, and so forth. My intention is to provide a safe space for anyone seeking to be heard and supported in their own grief experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are all here to learn from our experiences, both the beautiful and the painful. I value creating a space where all people feel safe to be exactly who they are, and I proudly support the LGBTQ+ community. I also believe that life extends beyond what we see, and that love and connection continue even after death, offering comfort and meaning in times of loss.
