About My Clients

I specialize in therapy for children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, ADHD, autism, sensory challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and school or social stress. I work especially well with neurodivergent, gifted, and highly sensitive children who may feel misunderstood. I support parents who feel overwhelmed by daily power struggles and want practical brain-based tools to help their child feel calmer and more confident. Together we focus on strengthening regulation and connection.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 15 years of experience working with children and families, and more than five years of licensed clinical practice. My background includes both therapeutic and educational settings, which allows me to understand children not only emotionally, but developmentally and systemically — at home and at school. My approach is grounded in neuroscience, attachment theory, and relational therapy. This means we focus on creating safety and regulation first — because when the nervous system feels supported, children are more able to access skills, learning, and connection instead of just managing behavior.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

At the heart of my work is the belief that every child and every family deserves to feel safe, understood, and valued for who they are. I am deeply committed to neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based care, and I believe differences in learning, processing, and relating are not deficits — they are variations of the human experience. I strive to create an inclusive, culturally responsive space where families of all backgrounds, identities, and structures feel welcome. I support LGBTQ+ affirming care and believe that therapy should honor each person’s lived experience, identity, and voice. As both a clinician and former educator, I care deeply about prevention, early intervention, and equipping parents with tools that foster emotional health from a young age. I believe that when we support parents’ nervous systems and confidence, we strengthen entire family systems. Above all, I value curiosity over judgment, connection over control, and long-term resilience over quick fixes.
