About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who want to understand themselves and their relationships more deeply. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, relationship patterns, attachment wounds, life transitions, identity, or the lasting impact of earlier experiences. I especially enjoy working with people who are curious about themselves and want therapy to go beyond symptom management toward deeper, meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a depth-oriented, relational and somatic approach to therapy. My work is informed by attachment theory, AARM, mindfulness, and body-based approaches, with additional training in couples therapy, attachment repair, EMDR, Organic Intelligence, EFT, Relational Life Therapy, and currently, Hakomi. I believe therapy can include understanding how our histories and relationships have shaped us while also paying attention to what is happening in the present moment, in the body, emotions, relationships, and nervous system. Rather than focusing only on what is “wrong,” I help clients develop greater awareness of their patterns, inner resources, needs, and capacity for choice. I bring warmth, curiosity, authenticity, and respect for each person's own pace and process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value authenticity, curiosity, compassion, and respect for the many different ways people create meaningful lives and relationships. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcomes clients across identities, relationship structures, and backgrounds. Spirituality is meaningful in my own life, and I welcome clients who want to explore spirituality as part of their own healing. I also deeply value our connection with the natural world and animals, and I am an animal lover and supporter of the Humane Society. I believe healing can emerge through relationship, embodiment, connection, creativity, nature, community, and developing a more trusting relationship with ourselves.
