About My Clients
I help people who are anxious feel less anxious! Do you feel like there always seems to be something to worry about? Are you always imagining the worst case scenario? Is it sometimes hard to sleep because your mind is racing? If so, you're not alone! I know exactly how you feel, and I used to feel this way too. My Background and Approach
Therapy isn't "one size fits all," so I use a variety of approaches (plus a bit of humor!) to meet the needs of each individual client. We'll work together collaboratively to identify the things that trigger your anxiety and why. We'll explore your patterns of thinking and evaluate the areas that might need some fine-tuning. I'll provide you with some easy skills and techniques to help you combat anxiety wherever you are! I have a background in the medical field, so I like to emphasize the mind-body connection. I'll teach you what's happening in your body & brain when anxiety hits so you can understand how to implement science-based calming skills. By learning how to reshape your thoughts and fight anxiety when it does pop up, you'll soon be able to prevent anxiety attacks from happening in the future!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every single human deserves to be seen and heard. Being a therapist has allowed me to meet incredible humans from all different backgrounds, and I have learned so much from each and every one of them! I believe that we are constantly growing and evolving, and I am honored that my clients have shared their journeys with me. I believe that any moment is the perfect time to make a positive change. We all have stories, and I love helping people own and share theirs.
