About My Clients
I often work with young adults, including college students and young professionals, who experience anxiety, depression, and life adjustments including those that accompany the transition into adulthood. Life changes can be unexpectedly distressing, even if the change was something we were initially excited about, like starting college, a new move, or a new career. You may also be experiencing changes such as seasonal depression, a relationship loss, a chronic pain condition, or loneliness.
My Background and Approach
I prioritize the therapeutic relationship & believe it’s the small things that create this alliance; you’ll notice how I remember those details you told me because what you say is important to me! Each person’s treatment is approached uniquely because each person is different in their own special way. I aim to be thorough in my sessions & strive for each session to be a resting place. I offer down-to-earth talk with my clients about their concerns. I believe you will find the therapeutic process to be nonjudgmental and insightful. With me,the pressure to “be a certain way” is off. I often use a therapeutic relationship-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework in my sessions, including CBT for chronic pain. In the end, we are all human and many of us suffer with mental health concerns. We should never feel ashamed over this. I encourage you to reach out.
