About My Clients
My ideal client is one who wishes to reflect and connect around their experiences in life for more aligned relationships with yourself, others, and your world.
My Background and Approach
Though I have an integrationist orientation to help me remain responsive to how you are in your world, Existential Phenomenological Psychotherapy is my primary orientation. What draws me to this orientation is its emphasis on experiential exploration as a mechanism for change in and of itself. In the words of my mentor, “Change happens when one becomes what one is, not when one tries to be what they are not.” I find this stance allows me to more fully immerse myself into positive regard, exploration, and the aliveness of what is in the room while not falling into the possible trap of preconceived theories of pathology. I find this helps bring whatever that ‘thing’ that is being discussed be it depression, anxiety, or what have you, to life in the room so that it may be processed in a way that is is authentic to the self in the moment of the here and now instead of simply problem solving or rigidly trying to shift it into a preconceived treatment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I aspire to be a healing force for connection, walking with you to explore the depths of your experiences and relationships. This process enables one to discover new ways of relating to themselves, others, and their world- nurturing a more intimate relationship with oneself makes space for deeper connections throughout life. I specialize in helping people explore how their worldview shapes their interactions with themselves, others, and their environment- particularly through the lens of connection and meaning. We’ll work together to navigate all the parts of yourself that show up in the world, fostering a sense of wholeness, alignment, and possibility. Having an exploration heavy approach, areas that I typically work with are identity, relationships, career, spirituality, depression, trauma, anxiety,
