About My Clients
Have you been feeling unsafe in your community or family? Feeling like no one sees you for who you are? Sick of being scared of being judged if you talk openly about your identity? I specialize in providing client-centered care that is LGBTQIA+-friendly, kink- and polyamory-positive, and affirming for those with chronic illness. I use telehealth to support individuals and couples/polycules by providing them with a safe, inclusive space to heal and grow.
My Background and Approach
My approach is very client-centered, tailoring counseling to your personal goals and meeting you where you are. I am not here to “fix” anyone, but to use evidence-based approaches learned over more than ten years of working in mental health and psychology to help you become the version of yourself you want to be. I am Gottman Method (Level 2) trained and use DBT-based techniques and psychoeducation to help you learn how to navigate feelings of overwhelm, learn to regulate your emotions, and develop resiliency. I am direct and solution-focused with experience helping people shift from “intellectualizing” to learning how to process their emotions so you can take back control of your life! I also provide Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to individuals struggling with OCD, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to those wanting to move past traumatic experiences.
