About My Clients

I work with teens, adults, and couples who want to feel more connected, confident, and grounded in their lives. Many of my clients are navigating trauma, relationship struggles, self-esteem issues, identity exploration, grief, or major life transitions. I have a deep commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. Together, we create a safe and compassionate space where you can feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow.

My Background and Approach

I am an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT #153852) with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. My background combines psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches, which means I help clients explore the deeper roots of their struggles while also offering practical tools for change. I specialize in working with trauma, relationship challenges, grief, self-esteem, and identity exploration. I provide therapy for teens, adults, and couples, with a strong commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. As an associate, I practice under the supervision of Mercedes Cusick, LMFT (License #118720). Her guidance allows me to integrate clinical depth, safety, and compassion into the work I do with clients. My goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients can feel truly seen and understood, while developing the insight and skills to move toward growth, resilience, and healing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a supportive and collaborative space where people feel safe to explore their emotions, histories, and hopes for the future. Healing happens in relationship, and I see therapy as an opportunity to build trust, compassion, and curiosity together. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. While I am committed to affirming marginalized voices, I also deeply value working with people from all walks of life who are seeking change, meaning, or relief from patterns that no longer serve them. I believe every person carries resilience and the capacity for growth, and therapy can be a powerful tool to help unlock that potential and support a more authentic, connected, and fulfilling life.
