About My Clients
As a licensed therapist, I am passionate about supporting young adults navigate the complexities of life's transitions. Whether you are adjusting to new responsibilities, career changes, or relationship challenges, I provide a safe and compassionate space to explore these shifts.
My Background and Approach
I have been working in the field of mental health for the last several years across a wide variety of settings from an inpatient psychiatric hospital to medical hospitals to a community center and public school systems. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals from various backgrounds, but I am particularly passionate about supporting adolescents, teens, and young adults. I understand the unique challenges you face during these formative years and am dedicated to helping you navigate this important time in your life. My approach is to create a warm, safe, and validating environment for you to process your experiences and explore life’s challenges. I specialize in working with young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and general life stress. While I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), I use a multi-faceted approach, bringing in a range of modalities to support the client who is in front of me.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone, and that the mental health stigma is slowly dying out with the new generation. Therapy is a space where you should feel safe, accepted, and validated. It is important to find the right therapist for you, which can sometimes take a few tries! If I can give one message to people who are looking for help it would be to be patient and be persistent. Don't be afraid to ask questions. You deserve the support.
