About My Clients
Welcome. Many individuals I work with have come to me with a history of depression, anxiety, difficulty in relationships, low self esteem and many with traumatic experiences. My approach cultivating understanding of symptoms and their histories alongside trauma based mindfulness techniques. Additionally, I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and empathy, allowing us to explore underlying causes, patterns, and conflicts that lead to personal growth.
My Background and Approach
My approach in therapy is informed from my many experiences and trainings. My technique is rooted in mindfulness based approaches, attachment theory with a psychodynamic framework. I believe a good therapist never stops the learning process and I dedicate my time to constantly educating myself on evidenced based theories not only about therapeutic approaches but also including social justice reform, yoga and body wellness, and the impact on nature to mental health. I tailor each session to the unique challenges of each client. In session we will try to understanding sources of discomfort, practice techniques to soothe, and problem solve together around life styles changes that may help manage and create lasting change.
