About My Clients

I am passionate about liberating queer folx from oppressive beliefs, depathologizing mental health, cultivating radical self-love and identifying your wise internal compass! I create a safe space to break cycles of deeply rooted limiting beliefs, self abandonment, and generational trauma. I use the wisdom from your softness and emotional depths to discover your true sense of self and intuition as a form of resiliency.

My Background and Approach

I aim to provide clients with a safe and non-judgmental space and I love helping clients embrace their vulnerability and softness in order to reclaim their voice. I believe that by processing the parts of ourselves that have once been associated with shame, guilt, or other difficult emotions, we can gain compassion and trust in our authentic selves and our internal compass. I work with adolescents and adult individuals as well as Intimate partnerships - monogamous, and non-monogamous. I practice relational-cultural therapy using narrative, trauma-informed, somatic, and decolonized/anti-racist approaches. I have extensive experience with: CPTSD, Trichotillomania, OCD, dismantling oppressive systems, Transgender communities, Non-binary folx, LGBTQ+ communities, Latinx/e community, people pleasing Tendencies, BIPOC empowerment, DV/IPV advocate, ENM, Gender identity/exploration, mindfulness, grief and loss, breakups (romantic/platonic), intergenerational trauma, and Religious trauma.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer, gender-fluid, LatinX therapist I am dedicated to decolonizing mental health and empowering clients of all intersectional identities with a social justice lens. I am a first generation Mexican and Salvadorian American queer woman, which has heavily shaped and influenced my life. I am familiar with households where mental health concerns, family trauma, sexuality, gender identity, and oppression are topics that go unacknowledged. I am bilingual/spanish speaking, which allows me to provide more accessible, culturally inclusive, and accepting mental health services. As a survivor of childhood abuse and intimate partner violence my goal is to establish and nourish safe and loving relationships that allow us to be unapologetically ourselves.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
