About My Clients
My clinical experience has allowed me to work with individuals, couples, families, and youths struggling with building/ maintaining relationships, finding meaning/ purpose in life, depression, anxiety, self-confidence/ self-esteem issues, mood interfering with daily life function, trauma, grief, anger, ODD, ADHD/ADD, and other specific challenges.
My Background and Approach
I work with clients who may be struggling with a wide range of issues such as, anxiety, anger management, depression, trauma, ADHD/ADD, ODD, self-esteem/ self-confidence, relationship issues, stress, etc. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I will provide therapeutic tools/ strategies to empower you on that journey. While I do use a variety of therapy methods, I tend to lean more towards the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on making connections between thoughts, behavior, and feelings. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better. I am here to listen, provide support, and assist you with navigating through issues you are currently facing. Things can get better!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe you are the expert of your story and have many God-given strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
