About My Clients

I work well with people who feel “in between” identities, roles, cultures, or ways of being. My clients often come in wanting clarity, steadiness, and a space where nothing about them is “too much.” They’re curious about how their past and identity shape their present, and they want a therapist who meets them with realness, context, and care.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Latinx therapist grounded in relational, trauma-responsive, and culturally sensitive work. I support individuals, couples, and families, often navigating identity, immigration, adoption, and transgenerational stories, through a lens that honors where you come from and who you’re becoming. I draw from attachment theory; Emotionally Focused Therapy; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing; Dialectical Behavior Therapy; play therapy; and narrative therapy to help you make sense of your experiences and create new possibilities. I offer gender-affirming, bilingual (English/Spanish) care and have advanced training in trauma-informed practices, suicide prevention, and child-parent interventions. My goal is to create a steady, compassionate space where you feel seen and supported as you face trauma, anxiety, grief, chronic illness, or relationship challenges. Together, we focus on connection, meaning, and healing in ways that fit your life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens in relationships and through being seen, honored, and met with real care. As a Latinx, bilingual therapist, I value cultural humility, liberation, and the strength found in our stories, families, and communities. I’m committed to gender-affirming, LGBTQIA+–affirming, and anti-oppressive practice, and I support movements that work toward equity, immigrant justice, and mental health access. I care deeply about creating spaces where people can bring their whole selves, challenge harmful narratives, and build lives rooted in dignity, connection, and possibility.
