About My Clients
My ideal clients are children, teens, and young adults who may be struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, or questions of personal identity. If you are looking for a place where you or your child can feel safe, accepted, and supported while navigating life's struggles, please feel free to give me a call.
My Background and Approach
My practice is grounded in evidence-based practices, with a particular emphasis on Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and play-based therapy techniques for the children in my care. I believe that our struggles and behaviors are rooted in unmet needs in our lives—desires for connection, for courage, or for proving our own capability. By identifying these needs and healthier ways of meeting them, we can work together to find healing. While I bring expertise in the field of mental health, I believe that you are the expert on your own lived experience (or in the experience of parenting your child). My goal is to work alongside you and combine our expertise to help you navigate anything life may throw your way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Unconditional support and acceptance are the hallmarks of any effective therapy, and my practice will always be a place where clients can be themselves without fear of judgment or repercussion. For the children and teens in my care—you matter, your problems matter, and your voice matters. You don't matter any less just because you are younger, and I look forward to helping you and your family in any way I can. Whether you are coming from a traumatic background, navigating the complexities of neurodivergence, or identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, my doors will always be open. Navigating life can be difficult, but finding support doesn't have to be. Let's talk about how therapy can help you find the fulfillment and encouragment that you deserve.
