About My Clients
In my practice I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults struggling with issues including but not limited to anxiety and high-functioning anxiety, self-esteem challenges, parent-child conflict, depression, life transitions, and relationship/dating issues. I provide trauma-informed individual and family counseling in order to promote a realistic, maintainable, and fulfilling lifestyle as well as build a cohesive family unit with open communication, empathy, and understanding.
My Background and Approach
My approach to counseling is down to earth and realistic. I focus on creating a safe and positive atmosphere for teens and families to feel comfortable sharing and achieving realistic goals. My clinical experience includes providing counseling within school systems, Baker Act facilities, private practice and within the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community which allows me to understand the complex system challenges faced by teens while advocating for the success in all environments. Telehealth available in Florida and Nebraska. Services also available for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and CODA individuals and families.
