About My Clients
You feel isolated, misunderstood, lonely. You’ve been told you’re “too much,” “too sensitive,” or “intense.” You feel frozen in profound suffering. You feel that no one has seen the real you and have a sense that there are parts of yourself that maybe you haven’t seen. Hiding yourself has become unbearable, but you don’t know where to start or who to go to for help making sense of your complex inner world and experiences.
My Background and Approach
I often work with those who identify as queer, particularly nonbinary/transgender folks. As a therapist, I work holistically. I make space for the whole person (mind, body, soul), and all of their story (past, present, hopes).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I didn’t become a therapist to “fix” anyone. Your pain is real but you are not broken. You’re the expert of your life and I offer a holding space to help you amplify your inner voice and inner wisdom. I believe healing is a relational, holistic, and meaning-making process that goes beyond symptom relief to help you understand your life in context — including your history, body sensations, emotions, relationships, and the impacts of oppression. I see therapy as a collaborative journey where you are met with warmth, respect, and curiosity. I value exploring not only what causes pain but also how you’ve survived it, helping you connect with deeper parts of yourself, create new meaning, and build a life that feels more authentic and embodied.
