About My Clients
Everyone seems to be stressed, depressed or plain old over everything and everyone. I get it. I really do. The last thing you want to be doing on your fifteen minute break is looking for someone to talk to about your personal problems and the general state of the world, but you're here, and I'm available to listen. I'm not going to use a bunch of fancy words I learned in grad school or make you feel like I'm the expert on your life. You know you best.
My Background and Approach
I'm only here to be the facilitator between the current version of yourself, and the self you'd like to become. We live in a world full of flawed humans, and I'm just as flawed as the next, but I'll be there to help you wade through the muck of life. Anxiety, depression, parenting through a pandemic, or parenting in general are all areas I can help with. Break ups, moves to a new city, ending a friendship are all life transitions that can seem lonely to navigate, but I've done them all and lived to tell the tale. Let me help you figure out your stuff. My practice is fully online, and I want to be sure that you are comfortable with the format as well as with me. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each person has a unique gift to offer the world. Everyone should have the opportunity to determine their own path in this life. Therapy should be a collaborative approach and the goals should be yours alone. I'm LGBTQ+ affirming and support sex work as being recognized as legitimate work. I'm an advocate for the rights of all people and work to actively and outwardly portray that in my personal and professional life.
