About My Clients

I work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, self-doubt, and major questions of identity. Many feel caught between versions of themselves or unsure of who they’re becoming. My clients often face relationship or family conflict, transitions, or a sense of disconnection. They’re thoughtful and curious, wanting space to understand their patterns and make meaning of the emotions shaping their inner lives.

My Background and Approach

I’m an LMSW and a candidate in the Adult Psychoanalysis Program at IPTAR, where my training centers on contemporary relational and affect-focused approaches. I completed my MSW at Smith College School for Social Work, with clinical placements in psychodynamic and trauma-informed settings. Before becoming a therapist, I studied political theory and philosophy at Columbia and Sciences Po, and worked as a writer—experiences that continue to shape how I listen: with attention to language, contradiction, and the emotional meanings beneath the surface. Clinically, I’ve worked with adults and teens navigating identity confusion, anxiety, relationship patterns, and major life transitions. My practice is rooted in the belief that symptoms express something vital about a person’s inner world, and that therapy can provide a space to hear oneself more fully. I practice under the supervision of an IPA trained Psychologist and Psychoanalyst.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a space where all parts of you are welcome—your identity, history, conflicts, desires, and questions. I work from a psychodynamic perspective that takes seriously the ways gender, sexuality, culture, and family shape our emotional lives. I welcome people of all identities, including LGBTQ+ and queer clients, and I strive to create a space where you don’t have to explain or shrink yourself to be understood. I believe that when we can speak freely and be met with curiosity rather than judgment, something shifts: patterns loosen, meanings emerge, and new versions of self become possible. I value depth, honesty, and the courage it takes to explore the parts of yourself you’ve learned to hide. My commitment is to provide a steady, reflective relationship where insight and change can unfold over time.
