Using an insightful, system-centered approach, I help you deepen connection with yourself and your loved ones. I believe healing happens in safe, collaborative spaces where you can be brave and authentic. I start by getting to know you as an individual and the systems you are apart before we identify goals that help you move toward real change in your life and relationship. I'm an active and engaged therapist who prioritizes your goals and the inherent power you have within you to change.
My Background and Approach
I have an MA in Marriage & Family Therapy from Regis University and am a Marriage & Family Therapist Candidate with the State of Colorado. I specialize in working with non-traditional relationships, couples of all backgrounds and orientations and LGBTQIA+ individuals. As a queer woman, I believe in the importance of found family and welcome all kinds of couples, families, individuals or any creative definition of community that need support in seeking deeper connection. Even as individuals we exist in tandem with our loved ones and our communities, and I connect you with the systems of which you are already apart.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you already have everything you need within you to create the change you want to see in your life and relationships. I aim only to support you in uncovering that power and supporting you in applying it. Community support and interdependence are essential to my perspectives on people and I support you in finding and deepening those connections. As a polyamorous individual, I prioritize expansive relational connection in my own life and its important to me to support you with the same. I am part of the Colorado Queer Relational Therapy Network and we seek to connect clients with effective, queer-focused and affirming therapy that supports both the clients' financial situation as well as the therapists well-being. We are also active in supporting queer MFTs as we navigate supporting our queer clients.
