I work with individuals of all ages (4 through adulthood) struggling with anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, and body focused repetitive behaviors such as hair pulling and skin picking. I also guide parents In their quest to raise resilient children. There isn’t a one-way-fits-all best way to parent, live, or overcome fear. My Background and Approach

I am a licensed psychologist specializing in treating anxiety, depression, OCD, and BFRBs in individuals of all ages. I partner with parents of anxious children and collaborate with individuals and families to provide life-changing care. I specialize in CBT, exposure and response prevention, and utilize acceptance and commitment therapy while individualizing treatment for you and your family’s specific concerns. I will teach you about how your brain, environment, and what you’ve learned are affecting your mental health, motivation, and confidence. You will learn new skills to help you cope with and overcome your symptoms. The therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance to me and to the effectiveness of treatment. I am personable and relatable in my approach abs consider myself my clients’ biggest cheerleader! My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My goal is to help sufferers dramatically improve their outlook and quality of life by teaching them how to change their behavior and how to challenge habitual negative self-talk. I believe that willingness and a commitment to living life in line with one's values, instead of with one's fears or in response to life's difficulties, is the key to coping with distressing emotions and uncertain situations. I believe my patients are the bravest people I know. Asking for and receiving help is extremely difficult and I commend anyone who is willing to reflect, change, and grow. Finding the right therapist is crucial to your success in treatment! I’ve worked in community clinics, public and private schools, hospitals, private practices, and a private residential facility. My personal experiences allow me to relate to a diverse clientele. I understand that things are easier said than done and I believe we can all do hard things!
