My Background and Approach
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University and a Master of Science in Nursing focused on psychiatry. My career started in acute care as a dialysis nurse, which led me to join Connecticut’s Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS). This experience deepened my passion for mental health care, leading to my current practice, where I specialize in treating disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, panic attacks, OCD, and schizophrenia. Through CareVille Psychiatry, I blend evidence-based therapies and medication management to provide high-quality, compassionate care.
