About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, and life stressors. I support children struggling with school performance and behavioral concerns, as well as adults facing crisis situations or major life transitions. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, offering culturally responsive care tailored to diverse communities.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico. My professional experience includes clinical therapy, crisis intervention, disaster recovery support, and psychoeducational workshops for families and educators. My approach is person-centered and evidence-based, emphasizing emotional regulation, resilience-building, and practical coping strategies. I work collaboratively with clients to strengthen self-awareness, improve behavioral patterns, and develop tools that support long-term emotional wellbeing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that resilience can be strengthened when individuals feel supported, understood, and equipped with practical tools. Emotional and behavioral challenges can impact many areas of life, but growth is possible with the right guidance. Therapy should provide a safe and culturally responsive space where clients can explore their experiences and develop confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges. If you are ready to work toward greater emotional balance and stability, I would be honored to support you.
