About My Clients
I specialize in working with individuals who feel stuck or overwhelmed by anxiety, as well as those navigating life transitions, identity exploration, or relationship challenges. My approach is trauma-informed, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-centered, supporting you to understand how your lived experiences—and the systems, culture, and relationships around you—shape how you show up in the world. I especially enjoy working with clients who are open to being challenged to grow.
My Background and Approach
My approach combines nearly 20 years of clinical experience with a deep commitment to helping you find real, lasting change. I use trauma-informed, compassion-based, and mindfulness-centered techniques to help you better understand the patterns that are keeping you stuck—emotionally, relationally, or professionally. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, and I bring that experience into every session to support you in exploring your emotions, managing stress, and building the tools you need to respond—not just react—to life’s challenges. You’ll gain practical strategies you can use every day to feel more grounded, make clear decisions, and show up more fully in your life. We’ll focus on what’s happening in your life right now, while also unpacking how past experiences and cultural or systemic pressures may impact you. With training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and emotional regulation, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens when we feel seen—not just as individuals, but in the full context of our identities, histories, and the systems we navigate every day. As a psychologist who is deeply committed to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, I support movements that affirm human dignity and I center compassion and justice in both my personal and professional life. I know what it’s like to break free from expectations and rewrite your own story, and I’m here to help others do the same. I believe growth requires both care and challenge—and that everyone has the potential to live a life rooted in purpose, clarity, and emotional freedom.
