About My Clients
My clients are thoughtful, curious, and ready to move from awareness into action. They're navigating relationship patterns, life transitions, anxiety, or trauma and want therapy that goes beyond endless processing. They're not looking for platitudes—they want to understand why they do what they do and build concrete skills to change it. I especially work with couples wanting to shift their patterns and LGBTQ+ individuals navigating identity and relationships outside traditional frameworks.
My Background and Approach
I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), psychodynamic theory, somatic approaches, and narrative therapy. We'll explore how your attachment history lives in your body and shapes your relationships, how unconscious patterns keep you stuck—then actively work to create new ways of being that feel aligned with who you are. I draw from Eastern and Western healing traditions because transformation requires attending to the whole person—mind, body, spirit. We work with what emerges in the present while making sense of how your past shows up. This is collaborative work focused on your specific goals. I bring warmth, curiosity, and genuine interest in your inner world. I'm not here to tell you what to do—I'm here to help you access your own wisdom. You'll leave sessions with clarity on what to practice and concrete steps forward. M.S. Mental Health Counseling, UMass Boston | B.A. Social Work, Regis College
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm an LGBTQ+ therapist who brings lived experience to navigating identity, building relationships outside heteronormative frameworks, and creating a life that doesn't follow the script you were given. I believe therapy works best as a real relationship—warm, grounded, and genuine. I'm not interested in being the distant expert. I bring my full self to our work and create space for you to do the same. I believe transformation happens when we balance depth with action. Insight without movement doesn't work, and action without understanding why won't last. I focus on helping clients make connections they haven't been able to see on their own, then translate that understanding into tangible change. I trust that healing happens in relationship and that everyone has inherent capacity for growth. My job isn't to tell you what to do—it's to help you access what you already know and build the skills to move forward. I approach healing holistically, honoring the mind-body-spirit connection.
