About My Clients

I strive to create a warm, supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore challenges, build resilience, and move at a pace that feels right for them. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck. I am especially passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community through affirming care and providing a space where clients feel seen, respected, and supported!

My Background and Approach

I take a humanistic, person-centered approach tailored to each client, drawing on strengths-based and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) strategies. My focus is helping clients understand intrusive thoughts, manage emotions, and build healthier coping skills in a warm, supportive, and authentic space. I have been in practice for four years now, and in that time I have worked to create a therapeutic space that feels accessible to anyone, regardless of where they are in their journey. There is no specific timeline for healing; I go at the pace my client is looking for! The space I create for my clients is to make therapy as inviting as I possibly can, so people can see they do not have the make this journey alone.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As I mentioned above, I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and providing an affirming, welcoming space where clients can feel safe being their authentic selves. This passion is deeply personal to me, as many people I care about have been impacted by prejudice, and the harmful rhetoric that continues to affect marginalized communities. I believe in using my voice and privilege to advocate for equity, challenge stigma, and support those who have experienced oppression. My own experience in therapy over the past several years has reinforced the importance of having someone who is consistently in your corner—someone who offers support while also encouraging growth and meaningful change. I strive to build that kind of therapeutic relationship with every client: one where they feel seen, accepted, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to begin or continue their healing journey. Everyone deserves a space where they can explore their feelings without judgement!
