About My Clients
You might appear successful on the outside, but you feel like something essential is missing from your life. You keep trying to reason your way towards change, yet feelings of persistent anxiety, relationship strain, or quiet discontent remain. Therapy can help you move beyond insight to find deep, lasting healing. My goal is to help you develop a more flexible, compassionate self-image.
My Background and Approach
My approach is deep. I focus on the relationship between the client and therapist as the first stage of change. I offer a non-judgmental space where we'll develop new understandings by connecting your past to your present and your dreams to your reality. Through exploring your unconscious mind, we’ll build self-understanding and self-acceptance. I love this work and work hard for my clients. With curiosity, warmth, direct feedback, and a sense of humor, we will scaffold new thoughts and feelings to address the root of your challenges. You aren’t a problem to be solved, and you deserve to be understood. I look forward to getting to know your story and seeing what we can create together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is inherently political. I care deeply about social justice, and my work is guided by the belief that therapy should be a liberatory and affirming space. My values of non-hierarchical healing are intrinsic to my sessions. I believe that the best therapy is co-created. I see my clients as experts in their own lives and seek to build trust through mutual respect, curiosity, and shared power. I also value showing up as a real person in the room — present, attuned, and emotionally available. I bring a sense of warmth and humor to my work, and I see the therapeutic relationship as a site of co-regulation and profound transformation.
