About My Clients
I take a flexible, generalist approach that lets me support clients through all kinds of challenges. With extensive experience in managing anxiety, navigating professional stress, and healing from trauma, I also have a passion for guiding individuals through relationship dynamics, life transitions, and building self-efficacy. I especially value helping clients explore and embrace their gender and cultural identities. I take pride in fostering a safe, curious, and warm environment for all.
My Background and Approach
I tailor treatment to each client's needs by blending psychodynamic, systems, mindfulness, and "third-wave" CBT modalities such as ACT and DBT. Because I do not believe in a one "one size fits all" approach to therapy, I draw from various modalities based on my client's treatment needs, readiness, and feedback. More importantly, I offer a safe and contained space for you to freely and fully explore your inner world. My aim is to be more than a listening ear - it is to guide you in uncovering meaningful insights in service of lasting, life-enhancing change. Ultimately, I hope our work will help you find a sense of clarity and momentum.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that effective therapy thrives on an authentic client-therapist connection. Intuition, humor, and collaboration are central to my practice. As a Brazilian native who grew up internationally (including in Japan, Bolivia, and Spain), I cherish diversity and celebrate the richness it brings to our human experience.
