About My Clients
Being a person is hard. When in survival mode, enjoying life can feel impossible. Emotional wounds from our past have a way of wreaking havoc on our lives and bodies in the present, leaving a deep shadow over life. Now, you feel like a victim to your body and you’re afraid if people really knew you, they wouldn't accept you. You are not alone. I've been there and I know how scary and difficult it can be. My goal is to help clients live with greater authenticity, peace, connection, and freedom.
My Background and Approach
I work with adults, especially women, stuck in survival mode, struggling with chronic stress who lose themselves in relationships and feel exhausted and disconnected from who they are. I help over-functioning, highly sensitive women heal from trauma and attachment wounds so they can feel safe in their bodies, secure in their relationships, and at home in themselves. I will help you rebuild the relationship you have with yourself and support you to heal patterns of self-abandonment through rebuilding self-trust, regulating overwhelming emotions, and practicing new ways of relating so you can create satisfying relationships. Healing is about building new experiences (nueroplasticity) of safety, healthy boundaries, and connection until they begin to feel natural. Together we'll slow down, understand the survival patterns that have shaped your life, and practice new ways of responding to yourself and others. Feel free to book a free phone consultation, let's see if we are a good fit!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a multicultural, multi-racial healer, artist and former architect in corporate, I believe when we are understood in context, we begin to heal. My passion is to help people recognize their inherent wisdom and create lives and connections that are true to who they are. Like a plant or a tree, to be well, we require a supportive ecology if we want to thrive. My practice, Ecology of the Human, exists because we need more healers in the world, working against the powers of dehumanization and exploitation. My work brings an ecological perspective to healing, recognizing that transformation occurs through relationship, environment, and meaning, not through fixing what is 'wrong' with a person. I help people understand themselves as whole, interconnected beings rather than collections of symptoms. To see themselves as one part of the ecology of their community to restore right relationships—within the self, with others, with community, and with the larger systems that sustain life.
