About My Clients
I help adolescents, young adults and adults navigate life transitions, stressors and anxiety, working collaboratively to develop coping skills and identify strengths. I experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum, as well as those dealing with trauma, depression, social anxiety and bullying, disordered eating and grief.
My Background and Approach
I was born and raised in London, England, and have lived in the United States for over a decade, earning my bachelor’s in Art History in Pennsylvania and my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in New York. After several years working in the art industry in New York City, I decided to pursue my career as a counselor. I have always been curious and passionate about the complexities of human relationships & behaviors. I am the third generation of female therapists in my family; we love what we do. I believe in the importance of creating a warm and compassionate therapeutic alliance, fostering genuine connections and using humor when appropriate. I use an integrative approach to create a tailored experience for each client, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client Centered Therapy, Mindfulness and a strengths based, trauma-informed approach. I'm dedicated to creating a therapeutic plan that aligns with your specific goals and experience.
