My Background and Approach
My Background & Approach My work is grounded in the belief that real change goes deeper than insight. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University (COAMFTE-accredited), a Master's degree in Teaching, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have advanced training in EMDR, IFS, somatic therapy, trauma-informed care, and teen therapy. My approach is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and tailored to you. We don't just talk about what happened — we actively heal it. Using EMDR, IFS, and somatic approaches, we help your mind and body process and release what's been keeping you stuck. Sessions are collaborative, paced carefully, and always feel safe and in control. Over time, clients notice fewer triggers, steadier emotions, stronger self-worth, and a greater sense of clarity and direction — and a life that finally feels aligned with who they truly are.
