My Background and Approach
I work primarily with individuals and couples struggling with relationship distress and believe that everyone has the power to change when given the opportunity to do so. While relationships can lead to stress and anxiety, they can also be the source of safety and security for us if we let them. Whether you're struggling in your relationship with your partner or yourself, we can work together to identify the parts of yourself that need attention and change negative patterns so you can feel closer to those around you and live a more meaningful life. In session, I am actively engaged and will explore how your individual story may play a role in shaping your beliefs and behaviors. Some of my areas of specialty include individual therapy, couples counseling, relationship distress, trauma, depression, anxiety management, and mindfulness.
