About My Clients
It is my belief that every client is unique and has diverse needs. My philosophy is to create a collaborative environment where the therapist and client can embrace diversity to work together towards achieving the client’s goals.
My Background and Approach
I offer over a decade of experience in the mental health sector through educational, volunteer, and work-related experiences. These experiences have involved collaborating with several mental health organizations across North America in various capacities. Through these experiences, I have developed a passion for working with clients in individual, couples, family, and group therapy settings. My practice is informed by cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), narrative therapy, and person-centered therapy. I am also trained in EMDR, the Gottman Method, Brainspotting, and other interventions and approaches. My specialties include working with depression; anxiety; domestic violence; anger management; substance abuse and addictions; trauma; grief and loss; life transitions; relationship issues; parenting issues; men’s issues; stress/burnout; mood disorders; and more.
