About My Clients
We focus on ensuring that we provide the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and Spanish speaking communities with effective mental health services to support their success! Individuals have often commented on our adaptability, creativity, and ability to be present in listening and providing a safe space for problem solving. Together we will help you safely sit in your discomfort while guiding you through the reality that you want to create utilizing metaphors and creative healing approaches.
My Background and Approach
As many mental health providers, we each started our journey of providing therapeutic support to individuals as a personal need to help others heal through their own struggles. Incorporating art and psychotherapy have been an integral part to making our practice a creative healing space for our patients/clients. Providing therapy in the forms of Art Therapy, EMDR, and verbal counseling while incorporating sensitive humor helps to understand what your mind, body, and spirit have been holding onto for so long. Art therapy can be an integral part in supporting individuals seeking an alternative form of processing through their past and present emotional needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As culturally informed and inclusive therapists from different backgrounds, we each recognize that peoples’ experiences are unique and impact them differently. We welcome individuals into a safe space to understand their experiences. With this understanding we can tap into the root of where you have felt pain and difference which has impacted your core belief system.
