About My Clients
Our clients are children, teens, and young adults including those who identify as Autistic or with other types of neurodivergences. We also provide parent coaching, providing a fresh and non-judgmental clinical perspective on what might be helpful based on the family's individual needs. Our clients may be looking for support to navigate life's challenges, anxiety, depression, and relationships; to make connections with others; and to build coping skills and self esteem.
My Background and Approach
All neurological differences can come with their own challenges that may look different from person to person and with which individuals may need support navigating. Neurodiverse affirming means that we accept and embrace individuals for their neurological differences rather than try to change them or force them to think, feel, and act in the ways others expect them to. Forcing individuals with neurological differences to act in ways that the majority of people would find to be “normal” or “acceptable” can be damaging to the mental and emotional wellbeing of neurodivergent individuals and be damaging to relationships with loved ones. Rather than teaching neurodivergent individuals to conform, Infinite Routes embraces differences and supports our clients to be who they are! We provide accommodations, identify effective coping strategies, and recognize personal strengths so that clients can effectively work on achieving goals, learning new skills, and building meaningful connections.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We are a neurodiverse affirming practice and celebrate the individuality and differences of our clients.
