About My Clients

Are you having more negative thoughts than positive ones? We can become so busy with life that we are unable to recognize our feelings or how stress impacts our thoughts. Life can come with many challenges including family, health, and work. Have you felt tired, worried, unable to sleep? It must feel like you're struggling every day. I will provide a safe space for you to express your true self. And Using an eclectic approach, I will teach you coping mechanisms to to be happier.

My Background and Approach

I have experience working 11 years in the community with diverse groups and cultures. I speak English and Spanish fluently. I have experience with children, adolescents, adults and families. I have worked with children group therapy and adult group therapy. I have worked with all ages and specialties individual therapy. I use an eclectic approach to therapy. I am person centered, humanistic in the initial session to get to know the client and assess. I will use different therapeutic modes depending on the issues , diagnosis and symptoms. I utilize mostly CBT, DBT, ACT, Strength Based. My passion is to empower my client to recognize their strengths and understand their emotions and thoughts and how they can navigate life's complexities. I believe that everyone has strengths and I want to empower my clients to feel secure utilizing their strengths. I will provide a safe and confidential space where you can express you true self. My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Therapy is not easy for everyone because it is hard to open up and admit that they need some help with whatever is goin on. I believe that humans can change if they want to. I think it can be hard to change and sometimes you have to be exposed to change. Education is a good place to start for change. I have been exposed to a lot of different things and people in my life. .. Change is easier for some than others, so it can take patience. I am a member of the NASW
