About My Clients
If a part of you is feeling intimidated by therapy and another part is trying to talk yourself out of needing it, you’re in good company. Before becoming a therapist myself, I sat in the client’s chair—both in individual and couples counseling. I’ve experienced firsthand the courage it takes to find the right therapist and risk vulnerability with a stranger. My work now involves helping clients navigate the significant points of the beginning, middle, and end of relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a Clinical Fellow of the AAMFT (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy). I have advanced-level training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and adopt an attachment-centered, evidence-based lens rooted in the neuroscience of relationships. My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative. I don’t pretend to know you better than you know yourself. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s keeping you stuck, begin to change the way you see yourself (and your partner), and help you find your way to a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am in full support of the LGBTQIA+ community. I stand for dismantling systems of white supremacy and colonialism. I have extensive experience working with religious trauma as well as narcissism within relationships.
