About My Clients
My clients come from different cultures, religions, and diverse education and backgrounds. They are veterans, first responders, married, and singles who are struggling with relationships and range from 14 years to 90 years young. They are either contemplating divorce, career changes, suffered trauma, are grieving, report sexual issues, or addictions.
My Background and Approach
As an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist, I’ve journeyed with many families & individuals initiating a process of healing and personal growth in a safe and supportive space. Whether it is struggling in a relationship, a blended family, loss of employment, trauma, or substance abuse, I can help you overcome the uncertainty of the next step. My specialty areas include EMDR Certified Therapist Sexual Abuse Sexual Addiction Grief Infidelity Family Conflict Marital and Premarital Caregiver care for Alzheimer's Anger Management Anxiety ADHD Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Coping Skills Depression Domestic Abuse Blending Families/Parenting I am EMDR certified and regularly use this incredible therapy modality to treat trauma. It has been very effective for treating veterans, first responders including police officers, nurses, doctors, firefighters as well as those who suffered in natural disasters, and people of all ages 6 years old to the elderly who suffered various forms of trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone should be able to find their piece of happiness, freedom from self-judgment, and have internal peace. I also believe most traumas that come from the past keeping us in bondage, in pain, or in anger. It shouldn't take years to get back to living a fulfilled and joyous life. There are therapy modalities that allow healing to take place almost immediately. My joy comes from helping people navigate difficult memories to let go of their painful past and step into a better life.
