About My Clients
Are you afraid that worry is going to keep you up at night? Do you wish you had the energy to sustain healthy habits? Do you find it hard to say no to others but you’re always saying no to yourself? Are you exhausted and overwhelmed by life transitions/career changes/dealing with caregiving responsibilities for children or aging parents? Anxiety, people pleasing, and stress can take a toll on not only you, but on our loved ones as well. We will identify your inherent strengths to move forward.
My Background and Approach
I enjoys supporting adults of all ages, including elders, who are struggling with anxiety, depression, people-pleasing tendencies, life transitions, stress-management, and emotional dysregulation. I use a holistic, client-centered approach and, depending on where you are in your journey/what your goals are, I incorporate skills from CBT, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and practice from a trauma and attachment lens.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When you’re going through a challenging time and are looking to experience change, it’s normal to feel overwhelmed by everything you “should” be doing to achieve your goals. I strongly believe that “small hinges swing big doors”. Change happens incrementally, not overnight. We’ll work together to identify your inherent strengths and empower you to use them in moving toward the life you deserve. I also believe that having support and accountability allows for you to make and sustain small changes that will make a big difference in your life.
