About My Clients
I work best with individuals, couples, and families who are ready for real change but aren't sure where to start. My clients are often navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, family conflict, or relationship struggles. Many come through difficult seasons; a divorce, a CPS case, a job loss, and need someone steady in their corner. I welcome adults and families across the DFW area, in-person and via telehealth.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with a Doctor of Education in Counselor Education and Supervision from Argosy University. I have been practicing since 2008 and founded Odein Counselling and Rehab LLC in 2014 with a mission to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals and families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. My approach is eclectic and client-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I tailor every treatment plan to the individual because no two people arrive at my office with the same story. I believe healing happens in a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard. I also provide LPC supervision for pre-licensed counselors and have a heart for faith-integrated care for clients who want their spiritual values to be part of the therapeutic process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My faith is central to who I am and how I show up for my clients. I am an active Christian and believe that purpose, healing, and wholeness are available to everyone. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and never impose my beliefs, but for those who want faith to be part of their journey, I am equipped and honored to walk that road with them. I am also passionate about mental health equity; ensuring that people from underserved and under-resourced communities have access to quality care regardless of their financial situation, which is why I offer sliding scale fees and participate in Medicaid and community referral programs
