About My Clients
You may be trying to repair a relationship, recover from a breakup or work out why the same conflicts keep coming up. Maybe you avoid difficult conversations until things build up, struggle to say what you need or feel guilty when you set a boundary. I work with individuals and couples who want to understand what is happening beneath these patterns and communicate more openly. If this feels familiar, you can book a first session through my website.
My Background and Approach
My style is warm, collaborative and direct. I’ll listen closely, help you make sense of what is happening and gently challenge you when I notice a pattern that may be keeping you stuck. We can look at what happens during conflict, what makes it difficult to speak openly and how past experiences may be shaping the way you relate to people now. I draw on CBT, attachment-based therapy and mindfulness. Alongside exploring the deeper reasons behind a pattern, I’ll help you find practical ways to handle it differently. This may mean preparing for a difficult conversation, learning to set a boundary or noticing the thoughts and emotions that take over in the moment. We can set goals together, but sessions will still leave room for whatever feels most important that day.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when you can be honest without feeling judged or told what you should do. You may know that something needs to change but still feel unsure how to change it, especially when the pattern has been there for a long time. We can take the time to understand what is behind it and work out what feels right for you. Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking, finding new places to eat and spending time with my rabbit. I try to bring the same curiosity and openness I value in my own life into my work with clients.
